He was supposed to turn himself in Wednesday. However, according to multiple reports, he returned to the family home to scream abuse at wife Phaedra Parks. He then belatedly turned himself in.
Bravo cameras were recording at the home when the incident happened September 10. “It was crazy. Phaedra had just got home from being away for a few days when all of a sudden Apollo stormed in,” an insider claimed of the felon forcing his way into their home. “Apollo came out of nowhere and ran around the house like a lunatic.”
By the time police arrived, however, Apollo had fled. “It was pretty frightening,” the source added. “Phaedra was understandably terrified and shaken up by the ordeal.”
According to TMZ, Apollo “went nuts because Phaedra refused to put money in his prison account while he was locked up. She also refused to bring their kids to prison to visit him and that caused him to lose it.” He reportedly screamed “What the f*** is the matter with you,” adding, “I don’t give a f*** about the police, call them, I dare you.”
He then demanded personal items, and went into their bedroom and put belongings into a large bag.
Us Weekly reports, “It was the most bizarre thing. Everyone thought he was already at jail this morning. He drove himself to jail and was supposed to be there by noon. So Bravo came over to her house to start filming her coming home and all that stuff. The whole Bravo crew saw it — it’s all on tape. Everyone was shocked.”
He was heard screaming “You didn’t come to my hearing!” and he was “running around the house like a lunatic for about 20 minutes. He was psychotic, not even making sense.”
A warrant was issued for Apollo’s arrest. Executive Assistant of the FMC Lexington prison in Kentucky, Kenny Coleman noted Thursday, however, “I can confirm that he is here.”
Thursday morning, Apollo tweeted “I would like to say thanks 4 everyone’s support & thanks 4 holding me in prayer I’ve arrived 2 my destination and I’m going asunder.”
He added in an Instagram video captioned “Thanks for all the love”: “Well everyone, I have finally arrived at the penitentiary. I’m about to go asunder.” Adding, “Thank you for the support and prayer. Stay tuned, and you’ll hear from me shortly.”
Us Weekly also notes, “the couple’s two young sons, Ayden and Dylan, were down the street at a neighbor’s house during the outburst.”
Previously, TMZ reported “Phaedra Parks is telling friends Apollo has essentially abandoned his family for the last 2 months. Choosing drinking and strip clubs over his wife and 2 kids.” They added, “She says over the last week things got so bad and so tense she feared physical abuse … although nothing happened. The 2 haven’t even spoken in a week.”
