According to insiders, Bethenny Frankel’s business empire is crumbling.
And it’s showing. For example, an eyewitness alleges that Bethenny lost it recently while picking up some things at the liquor store with her daughter and the kid’s nanny. Bethenny was smiling and playful one minute and then her child accidentally knocked over a bottle. “Bethenny lost it,” claims a source. “She started yelling at Bryn’s nanny, saying, ‘I pay you to watch her, not sit around and stare!’”
Bethenny used to have successful brands. She sold Skinnygirl to Beam in 2011 for $100 million, netting herself about $25 million. She had a talk show but it tanked. Its “test numbers were gigantic” according to its producer but “a year later no one cared.”
Her children’s book failed to generate interest, her SkinnyGirl beauty line for Wal-Mart has been pulled due to poor sales, SkinnyGirl shapers and food items are also in trouble.
“Bethenny’s first brainchild was the cocktails, but ever since she started trying to venture out and build a bigger brand, things just haven’t gone her way,”a source told Star.
“She’s rushed into building her brand too quickly and now none of it’s working,” adds the insider. “She claims she’s in control, but she needs help.”
