Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday 26 July.
Multiple sources confirm the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston died at age 22.
It has been nearly six months since she was found unresponsive, in the bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home, on January 31, by her partner Nick Gordon. She suffered irreversible brain damage.
Bobbi was placed in hospice care on June 24.
She was surrounded by family at the time of her passing.
The Houston’s rep released a statement about the death:
“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family.
She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
The family also shared a Facebook message:
“It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully.
The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers.
As Bobbi Kristina would say: ‘The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.’”
