Chris Noth is reportedly standing in the way of a third Sex & The City movie.
According to sources, he thinks there have been too many movies already. Although, he would do a third one anyway for the right price.
“Chris thought they should’ve stopped at the first movie,” a source tells Star Magazine. “Besides, there are only so many times Carrie and Big can break up and get back together before the whole story becomes unbelievable.”
However, the insider admits, “He might be persuaded for the right price.”
Previously, Chris came under fire for calling co-star Sarah Jessica Parker’s character of Carrie Bradshaw “such a whore” for serial dating. Although reps and producers from the show quickly dismissed his comments as a joke.
Chris also revealed in the same interview of the 2010 film, “I don’t think it was a bomb, but I think because they’re greedy, it didn’t make as much money as they wanted. But I think it was considered an indulgence and a distraction because it hit right when the recession happened. The critical response was overwhelmingly negative. There was not one good review of that film. Not one. And I think it was very hurtful for the girls, because [the reviews] got personal.”
