More information has been revealed about how Teresa Giudice and her former crisis manager parted ways.
Previously, Teresa refused to follow her team’s advice and asked to be sent to Danbury Federal Prison in Connecticut (the prison that inspired Orange is the New Black) as it would facilitate visits with her children. Outraged that Teresa would break protocol like that, the crisis manager quit and released a scathing statement about the Housewife.
Wendy Feldman released a statement to Page Six: “A relationship takes respect and effort as well as honesty… This relationship was filled with more problems than usual clients have because of the constant refusal of Teresa to accept responsibility for the smallest thing. This may be due to poor prior advice and so a coping mechanism or just plain denial. In any event, federal prison is no joke and must be navigated with extreme care. In the end that wasn’t done and so the relationship had to take a new direction. This is very sad. And after months of hard work not a decision made lightly. I wish it was different but I have other clients who need their interests protected as well.”
She released another statement to E! News: “Sadly, my time with Teresa and has come to an end. My client relationships are very important to me, however today’s filing regarding Teresa’s Bureau of Prisons designation request was not done with my knowledge or input… I am not the consultant referred to in filing. This is clearly not the first time my advice has not been followed, but this is the time where the stakes are the highest. Both for my clients and myself, I work hard to maintain a strong relationship with the Bureau of Prisons. As I’ve tried to instruct Teresa, this is a process that must be respected. A designation to a camp is a gift, not a requirement from the BOP and the judge. By making this request, Teresa has jeopardized months of work, months of preparation and in fact may jeopardize where she is ultimately designated or sent to. My ultimate responsibility is to all of my clients, not just to Teresa. I’m hopeful that, at some point, a change occurs and rehabilitation begins. My thought and wishes will always be with her children.”
“It’s important to note that the filing yesterday was not done correctly and in fact makes it look like one can just pick their prison,” Wendy continued. “That’s simply not true. The Bureau of Prisons designates prisons and criminal history makes status of camp eligibility very clear.” That said, it did work, and Teresa was sent to the prison of her choice.
However, weeks later, sources reveal to Life & Style that there is far more to the story. They allege that the crisis manager gave up on Teresa following a violent outburst during crisis talks. “Teresa flipped out,” claims an eyewitness. “She just couldn’t hear those words. She grabbed Wendy with both hands and slammed her back forcefully. Everyone was stunned.”
“At that point,” adds the source, “Wendy knew Teresa was a lost cause.” Wendy quit three weeks later.
Earlier this week, Teresa shared the above photo to Instagram with the caption “Celebrated our 15 yr Anniversary 10/23/99 With the Love of my Life”.
