Corey Simms reportedly feels bad for his ex-wife, Leah Messer. Why? Corey is sympathetic to how bad Leah is coming across on this season of Teen Mom 2.
Corey is siding with Leah. Corey reportedly agrees with Leah that footage has been manipulated for ratings.
Previously, Leah shamed the show’s producers for manipulating footage. Leah went on a Twitter rant. She claimed she had been edited to look like a bad mother.
But does Corey believe what he sees about Leah on TV? Sources say no!
According to a new report, Corey is sympathetic. He knows what it’s like to be edited to look bad.
“Corey knows how it all [on TV] works, and feels bad for Leah,” revealed a source (RadarOnline via The Hollywood Gossip).
“They have been getting along very well lately, and everything with the girls is fine,” says the source. “He believes her when she says what appeared on TV wasn’t actually what happened.”
Corey “is well aware that producers will do absolutely anything for ratings.”
How does Corey know what it feels like to look bad on TV? “Last season, they made him and [wife] Miranda look like the villains on the show, and they got a lot of backlash from it,” recalled the source. “They were very upset.”
Corey and his wife, Miranda, no longer bother watching Teen Mom 2 when it airs. “It’s too frustrating for them,” admitted the source. “They refuse to pay any attention to the fake drama.”
