Kanye West reportedly wants to construct a cathedral for use by the Kardashians in family events. Moreover, as a kind of shrine to his family.
A source claims, he’s set aside $5 million for the project and intends to accept donations from fans, and he thinks it’ll become a national landmark people will travel to see.
“They want somewhere that weddings, baptisms and family funerals can take place for years to come,” a source tells the National Enquirer. “But Kanye being Kanye, it’s going to be ludicrously over the top! He’ll keep adding on to the structure, so it’s a working piece of art.”
“Kanye sees it as a monument to him and Kim that will become a major landmark,” adds the source. “He says everyone will want to see it, like the Hollywood sign or the Empire State Building.”
“He’s already set aside $5 million to get the work started and plans on doing a series of shows to help fund the construction,” revealed the insider. “He’s also considering starting an online appeal so that fans can donate to the building fund.”
“He wants this church to include a chapel as a tribute to his mom, along with a stained glass window featuring him, Kim and their daughter, North,” said the source of Kanye’s revised plans to build a church for his late mother.
The building will be “nondenominational”, and a place of worship for the Kardashians. “Kim and her mom, Kris, are thrilled that Kanye is doing this for the family.”
