George Clooney and Amal Clooney have reportedly resigned themselves to living on different continents for weeks at a time during their short marriage.
According to Life & Style the “bickering duo” are happily spending months apart. With George filming in Los Angeles while Amal works in London. “The couple actually welcomed the break,” says a source. Adding “They’re really happy right now being on their own” because they “sure weren’t happy together.”
The insider reveals the couple’s alleged fights: whether to have a baby, George’s Hollywood man-child friends not liking how serious Amal is all the time and the friends hoping “the distance is the first step on the road to divorce.”
Previously, Life & Style made an alleged split its cover 87 days into the marriage. At the time, on New Year’s, the source claimed “The wedding high has worn off and now the reality of the relationship has set in — and it doesn’t look good… She and George just aren’t going to make it. They’ve been fighting behind closed doors — and it’s looking like the world’s most famous bachelor should have stayed a bachelor.”
Soon after, its sister outlet InTouch Weekly claimed they were on the brink of a $200 million divorce. The ITW source claimed at the end of January, their problems include: “Amal’s disdain for Hollywood and many of George’s pals, her increasingly diva-like behavior, as well as fights over starting a family, have friends convinced it’s all gone wrong for the couple.”
The In Touch source added: “I think they’ll divorce. There’s no way it can last. And it’s going to be very expensive for George… behind the scenes, he and Amal are fighting [because Amal is] trying to control George’s every move.” And although “Everyone thought they were the perfect couple… the fairy tale is over.”
