Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt are returning to the small screen this summer on Celebrity Wife Swap USA. However, one reality show may not be enough for the couple. They’re reportedly desperate for a place on a second reality show.
According to a new report, the couple are “begging” to be on the next season of weTV’s Marriage Boot Camp, presumably Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars (currently starring Bad Girls Club Tanisha Thomas, Jersey Shore’s Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and RHOC’s Gretchen Rossi).
Life & Style has exclusively learned the duo have been reaching out to producers of weTV reality show Marriage Boot Camp to try and secure a spot on the show next season.
“They are relentlessly calling the producers, begging to be on,” an insider exclusively reveals in the new issue of Life & Style, on stands now. “Heidi has been tweeting about Marriage Boot Camp to try to help her chances,” the insider adds.
And while the source tells Life & Style the couple used to demand $1 million to appear on a reality show, “they will take one-tenth of that” this time around! [via Life & Style]
It’s not yet confirmed whether weTV caved. For now, the couple have found a place on ABC reality show Celebrity Wife Swap.
“My mom saw the preview and she told me, ‘I can tell this is the first opportunity that you’ve ever had to be you,'” Heidi said of securing a place on the ABC reality show, earning $50,000 for it (reportedly that’s $20,000 more than the other couples), and finally “being herself” on television. Here’s a clip of their episode.
