Former The Hills reality stars Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt have defended Teen Mom reality star Farrah Abraham.
Heidi and Spencer were the villains on their own television show. They claim Farrah was “set-up” and “baited” to be the villain on Celebrity Big Brother.
As former CBB housemates themselves Heidi and Spencer understand the pressures in the Celebrity Big Brother house. The pair have defended the actions of fellow controversial reality star Farrah.
Heidi and Spencer talked about the incident on the Big Brother after show (Farrah got into a physical altercation with co-panelist Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, far right, sending a third woman to hospital after glass went flying).
Here’s video from right before the broadcast was pulled off-air early.
Heidi thought Farrah got a raw deal all season on Big Brother: “[Farrah] had such unfair treatment all season long.”
Why did Heidi think Farrah was treated badly? “[The other contestants] bait her, and she tries to make up with them and then they degrade her under their breath as a mom or a woman and whenever she stands up for herself, they call her crazy. They’ve had no respect for her from the beginning.”
Heidi added, “Farrah was totally set up [for a fight on the after show]. It’s not that I condone violence, but I completely understand why she’d react to these people because she has been bullied since the day she went in there.”
Spencer agreed, saying, “She was the only entertaining part of that show. She just owned it. It’s awful how they called her ‘disgusting on the inside,’ and they just wouldn’t stop. How would anyone react to that? As far as I’m concerned, with the way they’ve been attacking her, anything she does is self-defense.”
Previously Farrah’s mother defended Farrah’s actions in the Celebrity Big Brother UK house.
Farrah’s mother Debra Danielsen explained “[Farrah] changed the whole show… [Farrah has] got more followers and more viewing for the show than anybody else on there… She’s done everything the producers have wanted.”
