Queen of Versailles heiress Victoria Siegel died at age 18.
She passed away on Saturday. Today, more information has been released about her death.
Victoria, featured in the 2012 documentary about her parents’ home and the Wife Swap episode where her mother was Jeremy London’s “wife” for the week, died at the family home this weekend, local police confirm.
There were early reports on Victoria’s cause of death (via the Daily Mail), claiming that “she died of a drug overdose.”
Those reports appear to be credible. TMZ reports that Victoria had been in and out of rehab on “multiple occasions”. She allegedly has issues with:
- Unspecified “prescription drugs”
- And, more specifically, “Xanax”
Victoria returned home from her latest rehab stint 2 weeks ago. Her family claimed she had been “doing well” since she finished her most recent treatment.
She even attended a screening of her parents’ Wife Swap episode. So they were “shocked” by her sudden death a few days later.
TMZ adds, “It’s unclear if Victoria’s addiction issues contributed to her death. Neither the family nor investigators have released a cause of death.”
As a refresher, and since she looked a lot different 3 years earlier (she dyed her hair and was unrecognisable by the age of 18), here is 15-year-old Victoria in the Queen of Versailles, talking about a relative who came to live with them.
