Jessica Simpson has tweeted for the first time with her new name.
In her wedding video posted to PEOPLE, the newlyweds are announced as “Mr and Mrs Johnson”, and now the fashion mogul has indicated that she will change her name.
Jessica shared a photo of herself lounging poolside, with a large unaccounted for bruise on her leg, with the caption “Jessica Johnson.”
So, as with Kim Kardashian calling herself “Kim Kardashian West” on social media, it’s implied that Jessica wishes to be known by her married name. Although it’s not clear whether she’s legally changing her name.
Previously, Jessica joked that she would not change her married name… as she thought “Jessica Johnson” sounded to0 much like an adult movie star’s name.
In other news, sources are speculating about the sales of her PEOPLE cover.
Jessica is featured on the new issue, being kissed on the cheek by her husband (which is notable only because non-famous… and even very famous… husbands are often left off PEOPLe and other tabloid exclusive wedding covers). Sources say, it will be a big seller.
