Kate Upton’s lawyer has confirmed that the photos leaked this weekend are indeed real.
“This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton’s privacy,” her lawyer, Lawrence Shire, confirmed to BuzzFeed.
The statement continued, “We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible.” In the photos, the 22-year-old can be seen posing with boyfriend Justin Verlander, 31.
A source tells RadarOnline, “Even more photos and even videos will be released.” 150+ photos leaked over a few hours after being sold for Bitcoins on an image board. It’s thought many more will leak soon.
Also confirmed as real by a lawyer, the leaked photos of Jennifer Lawrence. Her rep issued a statement “This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”
“[Jennifer] is horrified over this leak and knows that this will possibly affect her upcoming roles,” a source revealed. “She knows that A-list stars don’t have this type of controversy attached to them and is very much horrified over the whole situation.”
Mary Elizabeth Winstead also confirmed her photos were real, writing on Twitter,”Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked. To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves.”
Glee’s Becca Tobin appeared to confirm the photos of herself unclothed and decorating a Christmas tree were real, tweeting Merry “XXXmas!” And Kirsten Dunst appeared to confirm her own leak was real, tweeting sarcastically, “Thank you iCloud.”
Several other celebrities including Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice have called alleged photos of themselves fakes.
