More quotes have been released from Kim Kardashian’s Elle interview.
Now, she’s talking about her good looks being “revoked” by God.
In her new interview with Elle Magazine UK, Kim talks about what Gawker jokingly refers to as some kind of “vindictive, slut-shaming, Old Testament God”. The kind of God that cares about “hotness”, made Kim hot, and then took her looks away to teach her a lesson… like an after school special. Or something out of the Brady Bunch.
She says of her pregnancy weight gain, “I’d think God was doing this for a reason. He was saying: ‘Kim, you think you’re so hot, but look what I can do to you.'”
There’s more. Kim continues of the baby weight, “My body just went crazy.” She adds, “After five months I swore I’d never get pregnant again. I got so huge and it felt like someone had taken over my body.”
Kim did speak, at length, about her weight and health issues caused by being pregnant including the early labour. After North was born, Kim effectively went into hiding for months (which she denies) and kept ostensible preemie North out of the spotlight for months too.
Lastly, Kim reveals where her insecurities came from: “It’s taken me a long time to be happy with my body and for my confidence to grow to what it is today. I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford’s. No one looked like me.”
