Kim Kardashian is desperate to keep her figure this pregnancy!
Kim gained 70 pounds during her first pregnancy with daughter North West in 2013.
Kim explained she’s slimmer this time around because she’s not suffering from a pregnancy-related health condition that causes swelling. But sources claim it’s more than that.
The reality star is taking “desperate measures” to stay thin.
National Enquirer claims Kim wants to gain fewer than 40 pounds this pregnancy. She will give birth in December.
“Kim brags that this pregnancy has been much smoother than her first, and that she’s staying slim by eating healthier. But that’s nowhere near the full truth,” claimed the Enquirer. “Kim barely gained anything in the first few months… but she’s been blowing up over the past few weeks.”
“When she hit 30 pounds [weight gain this pregnancy], Kim moved all of Kanye’s ‘fun’ food – frozen pizzas, dips, ice cream, cheese and soda – to a separate fridge and had a combination lock installed on it,” explained the source. “She also moved all non–diet-approved foods to locked cabinets. Kanye has a code so only he can access them.”
How is Kim maintaining her weight? “Kim hired a nutritionist who’s acting as her personal food cop during her pregnancy. When she feels a craving, she calls her nutritionist for support and advice,” reveals the insider.
Why change her eating habits for this pregnancy? “Kim indulged in a donut a day during her first pregnancy,” explains the source of what happened in 2013. “She threw caution to the wind [with the first baby] and paid the price. She doesn’t want to suffer again – desperately dieting to reclaim her famous figure once the baby’s born!”
