They recorded a music video in September for a December release. However, the track got buried in January, around the same time as the Village Voice made allegations about R. Kelly’s alleged serial sexual assault of minor African American school girls over the course of the 1990s, “dozens of girls — not one, not two, dozens — with harrowing lawsuits.”
Instead, Lady Gaga seemed to push another duet with Christina Aguilera and hoped people would forget about the questionable union with the R&B singer. At the time, she blamed the failure of the song on time constraints and “those who have betrayed me.”
However, somehow, the music video has leaked six months later and it gets even more controversial.
The video depicts the rape of Gaga by Kelly as she lay unconscious. Kelly plays doctor and Gaga is the patient. Gaga asks Kelly, “Will I ever be able to walk again?” To which he replies, “Yes, if you let me do whatever I want with your body.” Adding, “I’m putting you under, and when you wake up, you’re going to be pregnant.”
This promo was directed by Terry Richardson, who is also alleged to be a sexual predator who preys on young, vulnerable female models; many of whom have gone to the media with extensive allegations, including a rebuttal to the oddly cloying New York Magazine cover Terry just landed that pleaded his innocence.
The original (December) release date of this article would also have coincided with the online petition to get major fashion magazines to stop working with “Uncle Terry,” as he allegedly asked models to call him.
A source told Page Six, “Gaga had a video directed by an alleged sexual predator, starring another sexual predator. With the theme, ‘I’m going to do whatever I want with your body’? It was literally an ad for rape.”
