LeAnn Rimes does not plan to have biological kids.
Previously LeAnn claimed she wanted kids with Eddie Cibrian. She said at the time “We practice [making babies] often… He wants a little girl, badly.”
Now LeAnn says she doesn’t necessarily need to have biological kids. As a stepmother (to Eddie’s sons Mason, 12, and Jake, 8) LeAnn “knows what it takes to be a parent”.
LeAnn feels like a parent. The commitments of co-parenting (with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality star Brandi Glanville) mean LeAnn understands how hard it is to be a mother.
LeAnn, 33, explains “I have two kids in my house half the time, so I know what it takes to be a parent… I know my life will change – I just don’t know if I’m ready for that yet.”
Is there a specific reason she’s chosen not to add to her family? “Life is fine just as it is. We have lots of love at home.”
Being a stepmother to Mason and Jake helps LeAnn “understand the capacity I have to love someone that’s not my own blood.”
And it sounds like she’s getting tired of people asking… “I’m just really enjoying our blended family at the moment.”
