Natalia Kills says she stands by harsh comments made to an X Factor New Zealand contestant that got her fired.
Natalia and her husband, Willy Moon, who also made rude comments, told the contestant he was corny and was copying Willy by wearing a suit. Moreover, Natalia went on for several minutes about finding the contestant “disgusting”. Adding that she was “ashamed” to have to dignify the singer with a critique.
Overnight, a petition was posted online that asked for the husband and wife to be dismissed. TV bosses listened when they FIRED both Natalia and Willy the next day. The exec of the station on which X Factor NZ was broadcast admitted that he found the judgements to be inappropriate and bullying.
Since then, Natalia has been responding to fans on Twitter. Ignoring the bad and only addressing the more sycophantic comments, she thanked her fans for their support and insisted she’s just passionate. For which she will not apologise. “I love you guys, thanks for your support & understanding my passionate opinions! You know what they say about me…” she tweeted.
In a statement today, her rep echos the same comments. “[Natalia] just speaks from the heart and says what she feels. That’s just how she is,” said the rep to the Daily Star. Adding of whether Natalia was sorry for humiliating and berating an X Factor NZ contestant for wearing a suit, “No. She stands by what she said.”
