“We were doing great, but when I got suspicious July 24 and questioned him, he admitted he was still seeing her,” Ramona told Us Weekly (via RadarOnline). “I screamed, ‘We’re done!’”
“He used to have morals and believe in family,” Ramona added. “[He] is not the man I married!”
“I just couldn’t trust him anymore,” she told PEOPLE. “I have no regrets. I have a new life, and I think this means better and bigger things.”
A week ago, Ramona tweeted, “I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work. I am excited for the new chapter in my life.” She reportedly announced the breakup on social media after failing to sell the story to the tabloids.
Her family and friends have since reacted to the split, and it’s alleged Mario’s mistress may be considered for a role on the Real Housewives.
UPDATE 8/13/14: Ramona has reportedly complained to police that Mario’s mistress is stalking her. According to TMZ, “Law enforcement sources tell us … Ramona called 911 Wednesday afternoon, claiming the woman had followed her to a restaurant.”
