The Real Housewives of New York City reality star briefly split from her husband in January, when he was caught having a very public affair with another woman. They were often photographed together and they didn’t try to hide it.
In March, she told Bethenny Frankel’s talk show audience, “I know my husband loves me, he knows that I love him, and we will see what happens. Nothing is written in stone. Life is an evolution.”
Ramona denied the reports in Page Six and took Mario back in April, declaring on Twitter “What doesn’t break you makes you stronger” and sharing the photo above.
Ramona tweeted a statement about the end of her marriage Thursday afternoon, writing, “I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work. I am excited for the new chapter in my life.”
She re-tweeted a statement of support from Bravo, “Sending love and support to the lovely @ramonasinger! Stay strong! #newchapter.”
The split comes days after Ramona refused to answer host Andy Cohen’s questions about her marriage at the reunion.
She told Andy, “Everyone in my family is great. We’re together now, but I have a daughter Avery, who I love dearly, who is 19, and because of that, that’s all I have to say on the matter.” Adding, “I don’t want to take this discussion any further.”
Now, she’s opened up to Us Weekly about getting a divorce, “I am doing what is right for me and my daughter Avery, who is the most important person in the world to me. But I am feeling great!”
Earlier this week, Mario was photographed around town with his mistress. This was after his wife forgave his cheating for the betterment of their 27-year-marriage and their daughter together, Avery, who is currently in college.
