Blake Lively is reportedly planning to extend her lifestyle (read: glorified eCommerce) website and blog into a line of baby products.
“The line will include diapers, bath and body products and infant clothing,” a source told OK! Magazine (via the Belfast Telegraph) of the baby product line with the working title of “Preserve Baby”.
“Everyone can see she’s been glowing since she announced she was expecting in October,” added the source. Noting that Blake is more interested in becoming like Gwyneth Paltrow (A-list and elitist) than someone like Jessica Simpson or Jessica Alba (affordable everyday products for the everywoman). “She wants to start by catering to high-end clients — women like her,” says the insider.
Previously, actress Jessica Chastain derided the Blakes of Hollywood. Claiming that becoming a lifestyle guru in motherhood is lame.
Jessica recently told InStyle Magazine, “My favorite thing is the world is acting, and I want to be seen as a professional. I don’t have a lifestyle website. I’m not interested in the fame of being a personality. Some people are, and they love it, and that’s great for them. But the whole anxiety I had in 2011 was about not wanting to be in a room and have everyone stop and look.”
