There goes another TLC show!
The reality television show that captured the traditions and personal lives of the Stanley sisters, their families and friends has been axed.
It’s had four controversial seasons. Including lots of fighting and a recent incident where Mellie Stanley’s husband Skott Vuncannon allegedly murdered her puppy during an argument by throwing the dog against a wall.
However, their headline-grabbing altercations and constant drama weren’t enough to keep people watching. The show has been cancelled.
Why was Gypsy Sisters cancelled? TMZ sources reveal: “the cancellation was due to dwindling ratings from previous seasons of the show”. As such “TLC simply felt it was time to move on.”
The insiders add the cancellation has nothing to do with the dog incident.
Producers discussed the possibility of doing another season. But ultimately felt the show had run its course.
