Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko have called off their wedding, according to a new report.
Hayden, 25, got engaged to her fiance Wladimir, 39, in 2013. The couple soon confirmed to fans that they were expecting their first child together. Insiders reveal, the only thing they’re focussed on right now is their daughter, Kaya, born December 9, 2014.
“Last year, Hayden decided she didn’t want to walk down the aisle with a baby bump,” a source told the Enquirer. “So she and Wladimir agreed to wait until the baby was born before making wedding plans.”
However, continued the insider, “now that Kaya is here, the two seemed to have changed their minds.”
So why is the wedding reportedly on hold? “There’s all the time in the world to get married,” explained the source. “For now, it’s all about the baby!”
“I have no doubt they love each other,” insisted the source. Admitting the couple’s ages and heights (5-foot-2 versus 6-foot-6) aren’t the only things that are different about them. “Growing up in war-torn Ukraine is a lot different than growing up in New York City, and a 14-year age difference is nothing to sneeze at.”
“Wladimir and Hayden already feel bonded by the baby,” added the insider. Joking, “And her dad hasn’t shown up with a shotgun, so there’s no need to rush into anything!”
