Real Housewives of New Jersey reality star Teresa Giudice is in danger of being fired for missing too many of her promotional commitments for Bravo… and being a “diva”. Culminating in a showdown with Bravo honcho, Andy Cohen, who cancelled Teresa’s Watch What Happens Live appearance this coming Sunday due to a disagreement.
“Teresa was notified by Bravo on Friday that her appearance on Sunday’s show was being canceled,” a source told Radar. “No official reason was given, but the network has been upset with Teresa for not doing as many promotional appearances for The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri will take Teresa’s place on WWHL.
“Bravo bosses are starting to think that Teresa just isn’t worth keeping around if her diva behavior continues,” the source claimed.
The source continued, “The network is very sensitive to the fact that she is facing a looming prison sentence, and has tried to work with her during this difficult time. But Teresa has cut back substantially on media appearances to promote the show, and has been acting like a diva.”
“[Bad behaviour] just detracts from the show and creates more drama,” adds the source. “Teresa has been openly voicing her criticisms and complaints to anyone who will listen, and thinks there is no way she would ever be fired from the show.”
Previously, it was reported that Teresa and Joe’s sentencing would be postponed until September following the sudden death of his father. Also, Teresa admitted that, although she’s “terrified”, “No one can ever prepare themselves to go to prison”.
