Real Housewives of New Jersey reality star Teresa Giudice is reportedly “terrified” that she’s going to have to film the reunion with the other women and the glare of the cameras shortly after sentencing.
“Teresa is a mess over the sentencing, not only because it is going to most likely tear her family apart, but because she’s on TV she IS going to have to deal with everything on camera,” a source claims.
The season premiere is July 13, only days after Teresa and husband Joe are sentenced in their felony cases.
However, Teresa is obliged to film the reunion anyway.
“Teresa is panicking,” the source claimed. “She knows filming for the season is over and wrapped but the reunion show is adding another level of stress to her miserable situation right now. She is expecting Joe to be in jail and she doesn’t know how she’s going to handle explaining how terrible that is for her family.”
Adding, “The network knows that Teresa’s legal problems are going to be exactly what everyone wants to watch and they’re looking forward to the reunion taping.”
“A big fear for Teresa is footage of Joe being led away in handcuffs or her reaction outside the courtroom after the sentencing,” the source continued. “Teresa is terrified about everything – Joe, the sentences, her girls and her finances. She knows she has to have the show to even pay bills but she is afraid to actually talk about what is going on and watching any clips of her court date is stressing her out.”
Joe is also worried, mostly about whether he’s going to get years in jail and miss his children growing up.
His business partner Johnny “Presto” Centrella tells Life & Style: “It’s killing him that he knows he’s going to do some time and not be with his daughters [Gia, 13, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5. He told me, ‘The hardest thing is going away and not seeing them grow up.’ ”
Johnny adds, “[Joe’s] holding it together,” as he awaits sentencing, “you can see he’s a little nervous.”
