Amal Clooney is being painted as a controlling nag in this week’s tabloids (and last week’s tabloids).
The tabloids are claiming that she is unhappy with most aspects of George Clooney‘s life: his friends, his clothes, and their vacations together. With some outlets claiming that the unrest will eventually lead to divorce.
This week’s Star claims that Amal is unhappy with her husband’s immature and undereducated friends.
Since marrying George Clooney in a lavish ceremony in Venice, Amal Clooney has gone from rubbing elbows with the world’s elite to hanging with her hubby’s chowderhead friends. And while many would assume Amal would fit right in, insiders claim she’s already grown tired of the Hollywood social scene she feels is beneath her.
“Amal is one of London’s top attorneys,” claims a source to Star. “She’s highly educated and accustomed to spending her time with judges, doctors, scientists and writers. To go from that to hanging out with people like Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, two of George’s good buddies, just isn’t her style.”
Amal is also fed up with George’s habit of having his friends tag along on their vacations.
“She doesn’t want to hurt George’s feelings but she can’t stand being around ‘guys’. She struggles to find anything talk about with them.” [Star Magazine via Celebitchy]
So the novelty has worn off for Amal Alam already. Man-child behaviour that was probably amusing in small doses and at the start has grown old after only a few months of marriage. Celebitchy points out that Clooney’s old girlfriends probably never complained about the dude-bro atmosphere or the free vacations. However, Amal can afford her own fancy vacation and tires quickly of shallow conversation. It’ll be interesting to see a year from now whether George’s friends are tagging along anymore.
Previously, Life & Style Magazine claimed on its cover that the couple’s marriage was as good as over already. That the couple is fighting over everything and thinking about getting a divorce. Although Star insists they’re very much together and even expecting a baby together that was conceived on their honeymoon.
