Sean Penn and Charlize Theron, and her son Jackson, are in the process of becoming a family. And there are also plans to give Jackson, 3, a sibling.
Back in July 2014, it was reported that Charlize and Sean planned to become a family by adopting together (in addition to the son Charlize adopted on her own). Yesterday, Enquirer broke the news that Sean intended to first adopt Jackson as his son and that the child already called the actor “daddy”. PEOPLE sources agreed, “Charlize and Sean are very serious… Charlize says this is it. Jackson already calls Sean ‘Daddy.'”
Now, Us Weekly has more information and confirms with other sources that the couple plans to make Sean the three-year-old’s adoptive father and then give Jackson a brother or sister.
“Sean always knew that to truly earn a place in Charlize’s heart, connecting with Jackson was one of the most important parts,” reveals an insider to Us. The couple have been together for 13 months and recently “took their relationship to the next level” by getting engaged in Paris. They’re yet to set a wedding date.
They have, however, decided to become a family of three and then four, “There is still talk of adopting again and giving Jackson a brother or a sister,” added the source.
