Teresa Giudice was recently sentenced to 15-months in prison on assorted fraud charges and her husband, Joe, got 41-months. Joe even admitted on their Watch What Happens Live interview, “I expected me — I didn’t expect her.”
The couple is reportedly shaken, especially with the affect this will have on their children. They also feel Bravo is milking their plight for all its worth.
A source explains, “Early last week, all of the cast members were told they would need to film on Friday, the day after Teresa prison’s sentence was handed down. Teresa’s advisers believe that Bravo is exploiting her legal problems to boost the ratings.”
The source adds, “[Teresa] was made aware that all of her castmates were filming on Friday while she was being grilled by Andy Cohen for Watch Watch Happens Live. She has nothing to say to her co-stars. She loathes Bravo and everything they have done to use her.”
Former co-star Caroline Manzo added, “I’m blown away – I’m blown away by the whole thing. It’s so much bigger than the [Real] Housewives, it’s so much bigger than Bravo, it’s just life-changing for these people and their children.”
Caroline continued, “The only thing I can think of is their kids — God bless those kids — you know, it is what it is, and it happened and I can’t wrap my head around it, it’s a lot.” Adding, “To me, it’s just something that I hope that people, for the sake of the children, keep your opinions to yourself on social media and stuff like that and just understand, this is tragic, this is sad and I — I can’t judge them and I won’t judge them, because I don’t know what happened.”
She added, ”This is not a time to laugh, this is not a time to say, ‘I told you so’ … this is bad, this is not funny.”
