The daughter of Teresa Giudice from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Gia, 13, has reportedly landed a reality show.
Gia is a member of a three-girl group, 3KT, along with Cristianna Cardinale, 14, and Alexa Maetta, 16, that recently released a music video for Britney Spears’ Circus paid for by parents including Teresa (Teresa neglected to pay actual court-incurred costs relating to her fraud sentence, however, and reportedly the kids’ gifts were seized at Christmas).
“It will be all about her group, 3KT. They’ve been filming already for two months,” a source tells E! News. “So far, the footage is really fun. Once the pilot is completed, they’ll start shopping it to the networks.”
“All the girls’ families are in it here and there. But it’s not a show about the grownups; it’s all about the girls. Everyone’s very excited about it.” Despite being headed to prison next week, “Teresa’s thrilled but is keeping her distance. She’s really not interested in being in the spotlight right now. She wants the focus to be on Gia.”
The girls had their first concert at iPlay America in Freehold, New Jersey where they also performed Circus.
“The 3KT show was great for them. Teresa, Joe and all their girls were there plus Joe’s brother and his family,” the source added. “It gave everyone something happy and fun to focus on. It lifted their spirits. [Gia’s younger sister] Milania already wants to follow in her sister’s footsteps and keeps asking when she can join a girl group.”
Previously, it was reported that Gia “wants to live with one of her friends from her girl group 3KT while her mom is away in prison.”
“She knows her family needs her, but she also realizes that she needs a mother figure while her mom is locked away,” the source added. “She’s at the age where she really needs a mother in her life to help her through the changes of going from a girl into a young woman, and it’s not like she’ll be able to pick up a phone and dial her mom at a moment’s notice.”
“She’s not going to live with her friends full time, and nothing is going to be legally done,” the source insisted. “She isn’t going to abandon her sisters. She’ll be around to care for them and when she’s with the other family, she’ll only be a phone call away.”
