TMZ obtained photos from a few weeks ago of June laying in a bed, under the covers, with Mark McDaniel laying on the covers. They were in a hotel and other friends were there in a group.
Mark, 53, was convicted in 2004 for aggravated child molestation. He was found guilty of forcing himself orally on an 8-year-old. Mark and June were in a relationship at the time he was convicted. He served 10 years and was released March of this year. He is now a registered sex offender in Georgia. According to reports, June has been visiting Mark for months, sneaking away from production and buying him gifts.
Upon hearing that June chose to spend her time with a convicted molester – when she has minors in her home – TLC cancelled the show. The network says in a statement, “TLC is not currently in production on HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.”
They released another statement to EW, saying, “TLC has canceled the series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately. Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children’s ongoing comfort and well-being.”
Child services, local police and the local Sheriff’s Department have been alerted to the allegations that June is endangering her children by directly or indirectly exposing them to a convicted predator.
