Tyga, 25, appears to have admitted feelings of “love” for Kylie Jenner, 17.
After an initial denial the same week, Tyga admitted on Instagram, “Your beauty never goes unnoticed.” He added that Kylie’s “One of the best/dopest [people] in my life.” Before that he bragged on Instagram about having sex with her “every day”. Now Tyga seems to have made an outright admission that he’s in a romantic relationship with a minor.
Tyga told Hot 97, “If I love her, and I love her as a person, ain’t nobody else gotta deal with that.” Adding, “That’s real. The more your friendship grow, it keeps growing. It’s all about a friendship.”
He continued of his admission: “I do that for myself. I speak what I feel in my heart, and if I want to express that, then I will express that at that time. If I want to express it later in life, then I will do it later.”
UPDATE: Here’s Tyga’s full statement and he uses the word “love” a LOT!
“I feel like if I tell the world that I love her or I don’t, it’s on me to dictate that and how I want to keep my friendship or relationship with her,” Tyga vaguely replied.
“It doesn’t matter what the world thinks. If you’re around somebody and you love being around that person, that’s all that matters. I don’t think that what anybody could say could change that — how I feel for her as a person. Just being the great person she is, she’s just a good person, she’s got great energy. We’ve got a group of friends that we’ve been hanging out for the longest. I’ve been knowing her and her family for six/seven years. It’s all love there. We’re going to continue to grow.”
But the radio host continued to press, asking if Tyga “loved” Jenner.
“I love her as a person for sure,” he replied. “But not romantically speaking?” Shoboy asked.
“I don’t think it really matters,” Tyga said. “If you love being around somebody that’s all that really matters. [The fans] always want to know what’s going on. And I think it’s good for them to stay interested and want to be involved in my life, which I appreciate, but sometimes you’ve got to let the artist live their own personal life.” [via Us Weekly]
Kylie recently asked fans to “focus on what is real”, rather than gossip. Hours later a disturbing blind item about her and Tyga was posted online.
Kylie’s brother-in-law Kanye West admitted on 105.1 The Breakfast Club: “I think they’re in love.” The radio show’s producers edited the admission before they put the clip on YouTube (the audio still leaked to TMZ). Kanye added, “I think that… I think he got in early, I think he was smart.”
After news of the relationship broke and sparked debate on its appropriateness this composite image went viral.
