Proud daddy Tyler Baltierra of Teen Mom has spoken on Twitter about his love for his newborn daughter, Nova Reign, born New Year’s Day. And how he can enjoy fatherhood the second time around because it’s not as heartbreaking as the first time with Carly.
Yesterday, he wrote “I’m literally captivated by her beauty… the most perfect little girl and we created her @CatelynnLowell! #ProductOfTrueLove #ProudDaddy” Adding in response to Leah Messer’s message of congratulations “Nothing beats this feeling 🙂 we both have waited a long time for this lol.”
He added a moment ago, “Having her here feels unreal but actually taking her home feels even more unreal. I actually get to be happy about leaving the hospital”. He continued “Crying happy tears instead of sad ones feels AMAZING! I don’t have to be heartbroken this time #EmotionalDaddy #DontMindMe”.
He is, of course, referring to being a teenager when he had his first daughter, Carly, whom he and Catelynn Lowell put up for adoption because their home life was not stable or safe. They hoped that by putting Carly up for open adoption, they could spare her a troubled childhood while having a healthy open conversation about how she was loved and that’s why they gave her to more capable parents.
Told by a fan “I want to say a thank you to you and Catelynn. Yall inspired me to do the right thing for my youngest son, an open adoption,” Tyler responded “and your the reason why we continue to share our story”.
