LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s television show has been cancelled by its network after only one season and eight episodes, PEOPLE confirms.
After the pilot episode aired, LeAnn bragged on Twitter that it had great ratings and network executives were really pleased with its performance. She tweeted “Heard from the head of @vh1 that the show did very well, they are extremely happy w/ the debut and all the social activity from last night. Thx everyone for making the show a success! Let’s keep it up! #LeAnnAndEddie We adore all of our fans AND our haters! Thank you xoxo”.
However, soon after, proof was revealed that it had low ratings.
The couple couldn’t seem to agree whether the show was real and an examination of their loving blended family or completely fake, designed to attack Brandi Glanville, with actors playing Eddie’s children and rented homes they passed off as their own.
Incidentally, LeAnn allegedly let Eddie keep every penny from the show so he could “feel like a man”.
Previously, Brandi Glanville admitted that she watched LeAnn & Eddie. However, she watched it with friends to be sure the couple didn’t violate her minor sons’ rights or privacy after she hired a lawyer.
