Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story will be back for its fifth season.
One of its cast members has been confirmed: Lady Gaga. The show’s title has also been confirmed: “American Horror Story: Hotel”.

The new season will premiere in October. However, some fans have reacted negatively to the reveal because they fear star Jessica Lange may be replaced.
Previously, Jessica hinted that American Horror Story: Freakshow might be her last season. She told E! News, “You know, I told [Ryan] that we would sit down and have a long conversation when this was over… In a way this character is so great, I don’t know how you top Elsa Mars. I really—in deference to Ryan, who I love dearly and who I respect beyond—I have no idea at this point.”
After the finale aired, Ryan tweeted, “Thank you Jessica…for everything, always.”
Which seems to hint that Jessica might be leaving. And Gaga MAY be the replacement. We’ll have to wait and see! Here’s more:
