Hulk Hogan has been released from his contract with WWE and scrubbed from its website.
Why was he fired? What did he do? A transcript was released from his sex tape. In the transcript from the tape Hulk rants about his daughter Brooke’s sex life. In the rant he uses a LOT of racial slurs.
In the transcript Hulk is complaining about spending money on Brooke’s music career and also her choice of men. He complains that she is making “bad choices” by dating Black men. He rants by using racial slurs.
The quotes below come from a sealed transcript and “multiple sources” speaking to RadarOnline and the National Enquirer.
What did Hulk Hogan say in his racist rant?
Here is a transcript that was released by National Enquirer:
“She is making some real bad decisions now. My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her.”
“The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is [to] sell beach records.”
[Talks to sex tape partner about a “black billionaire guy” who offered to fund Brooke’s music].
“I don’t know if Brooke was f**king the black guy’s son.”
“I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f**king n**gers. But then when it comes to nice people and s**t, and whatever.” …
“I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f**k some n**ger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n**ger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!”
“I guess we’re all a little racist. F**king n**ger.”
WWE statement that they fired Hulk Hogan
Within a few hours, WWE scrubbed the star from its website, publicly distanced itself from him and released a statement.
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan).”
“WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
Hulk Hogan statement saying sorry for the rant
In response to the backlash, Hulk Hogan admitted fault and released his own statement about his “wrongdoing”.
Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation.
It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it.
This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise.
I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.
He also tweeted about it, below, and re-tweeted “@HulkHogan I still got love for you and the black community still does”.
In the storm I release control,God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be,one love. HH
