Brandi Glanville has talked about how much longer she plans to keep filming the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Brandi admits, it’s not just the cast who plays hardball. The producers also try as hard as they can to get the best deal each season. Making sure they don’t spend any more money than they have to for great TV!
Brandi adds, no one has been confirmed yet for the next season (although Kim Richards has been fired). Instead, Bravo is waiting until the last minute. To give people as little time as possible to negotiate.
“They haven’t picked up anyone yet,” confirms Brandi. “Every year they wait until the last minute — and they ask certain people back and certain people not back, or everyone back and not everyone back. They wait. I think they do it partly as a negotiation so nobody will ask for more money.”
So, would Brandi even want to come back? She reveals (via WetPaint), “I would like to do it one more time, then hopefully go onto something a little healthier.”
It’s not like it used to be, adds Brandi of how the show started. Social media madness was in its infancy when she first joined. So Brandi “didn’t have to deal with the haters” as much.
“My friends are like, ‘Why are you so happy right now?’ And I’m like, ‘We just finished filming!’” she recalls of her mood during filming. “They are like, ‘You are like a new person right now!’ It takes a toll on you.”
