In early reports, it was claimed that Teresa banked on Joe taking all the blame, leaving her to raise the kids alone.
Since then, the family has been living their usual busy lives and making the most of their time together between now and early July when they’ll be sentenced in the remaining fraud case.
The family’s tribulations have been captured by the cameras for Bravo. And the July 13 premiere of the new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey airs just as the court case comes to a close.
Bravo bosses have decided that, rather than make the family look guilty or the “bad guys,” they’ll work to make the family look sympathetic, even showing the strain the drama is having on their minor children.
“The new season is going to start on July 13, which is only five days after Teresa is to be sentenced in the fraud case,” a source told Radar. “Bravo is going to make Teresa look incredibly sympathetic this season, and they will even show her daughter Gia crying.”
“Teresa has denied in the past that she will let Bravo exploit her children by showing them upset,” the source added, “but in the end it’s all about the ratings.”
